Mr. Maskara was named as the President of the Residential Filtration Business Unit in 2009. He first joined Pentair in 2008 to lead a joint venture with GE Water.
Prior to Pentair, Mr. Maskara was General Manager of the Residential and Commercial water business at General Electric Corporation. Earlier, he held leadership roles at McKinsey & Company and co-founded NanoPore, a company focused on commercialization of advanced porous materials.
Mr. Maskara holds a bachelor’s degree in technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, a master of business administration degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and a master of science degree from the University of New Mexico.
