Mr. Witt was named Pentair's President of the Residential Flow Technologies Business Unit in 2009. He first joined Pentair in 1999 as Vice President of Finance for Pentair Enclosures and Hoffman, later holding the same title with Pentair Water. He was appointed the President of Pentair Water Europe, Middle East and Africa in 2006.
Prior to joining Pentair in 1999, Mr. Witt was the Chief Financial Officer for Cookson Plastic Molding and held a variety of progressively responsible roles at Cooper Industries in Finance, Strategic Development and Marketing. As a Certified Public Accountant, he worked as an auditor for KPMG early in his career.
Mr. Witt holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Abilene Christian University and a master of business administration degree from Harvard University.
