In 2010, Netha Johnson joined Pentair as President of Filtration Solutions. Comprised of the Everpure, Pentair Water and Pentair Industrial brands, the Filtration Solutions global business unit holds a strong position in the foodservice, energy and desalination filtration markets.
Mr. Johnson joins Pentair with a significant track record of global business experience. Previously, Mr. Johnson was President and General Manager of Dyneon, a wholly owned subsidiary of 3M, the $22 billion diversified manufacturing and technology company. While at 3M, he held positions in Lean, Six Sigma, Marketing and Business Management.
Before joining 3M, Mr. Johnson had responsibility for Asia Pacific Operations for Brooks Automation, Inc. During his career at Brooks (and a predecessor company Jenoptik Group), he held leadership roles with assignments in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan and Germany.
Prior to starting his business career, Mr. Johnson served as a U.S. Naval Officer.
Mr. Johnson has a master of business administration degree from Duke University and a bachelor of science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California.
