RANDALL J. HOGAN

Randall J. HoganMr. Hogan is chairman and chief executive officer of Pentair, a global leader in providing innovative products and systems in the water and technical products segments. Mr. Hogan was named Pentair's chief executive officer in 2001 and appointed chairman in 2002. He joined Pentair in 1996 as executive vice president, and president of the then-named Enclosures Group.

Prior to Pentair, Mr. Hogan was president of United Technologies' Carrier Transicold Division. Earlier, he held leadership roles at the Pratt & Whitney division of United Technologies, and held progressively responsible roles at General Electric, Power Generation and McKinsey & Company.

Mr. Hogan was appointed member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and currently serves as chairman of the Guthrie Theater Board of Directors, and chairman of American Public Media Group & Minnesota Public Radio Boards of Trustees. He is also a Board member of Covidien, and a member of Minnesota Business Partnership Executive Committee, and co-chair of the PAC Committee & the Health Policy Committee.

Mr. Hogan holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master's of business administration degree from the University of Texas.
