As the Official Smart, Sustainable Water Provider of the Minnesota Twins, Pentair helps reduce plastic bottle use at Target Field by delivering great-tasting, filtered water at the Pentair Water Stations for fans to fill reusable water bottles on game days.
Pentair technology at Target Field captures, conserves and reuses rain water for irrigating the playing field, the living wall and washing down the seats — reducing Target Field’s need for city water by more than 50 percent and helping it earn the designation of "Greenest Ballpark in America." The system is one of many environmental stewardship efforts that contributed to Target Field recently becoming the first Major League Baseball stadium to acheive LEED Platinum Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
