Pool Product Warranty Information

_{TradeGrade products are intended to be exclusive to retail stores (brick & mortar), pool builders, or pool service companies. Inground TradeGrade products are backed by full parts and labor coverage. View the list of TradeGrade Products.}

_{Consumable items contain a one (1) year warranty and include but are not limited to the following: o-rings, seals, gaskets, cartridge elements, D.E. grids and cartridges, external valves, pump mechanical seals, light bulbs, UV lamps, pH and ORP probes, cleaner hoses, bags, tires, and tracks. Consumable items will be repaired or replaced if the defect is proven to be the responsibility of Pentair.}

_{Professional Installation not required for: IntelliChlor® (w/o Power Center), iChlor® (w/o Power Center), Cleaners, Maintenance Equipment, Replacement Parts, and Above Ground Systems. All other products require professional installation.}

_{*Professional Installation – Defined as product installation by a qualified professional who charges a fee for their services, and possesses a business license, and/or contractor's license. Common examples of a “qualified professional” include: Swimming Pool, Home Repair or Landscape Professional; Plumber or Electrician; General Contractor; Heating and Air Conditioning Specialist.}

_{Warranty coverage can transfer to successive pool owners. See below for details:}

_{Exceptions that may result in denial of a warranty claim:}

1. _{Damage caused by careless handling, improper repackaging, or shipping.}
2. _{Damage due to misapplication, misuse, abuse or failure to operate equipment as specified in the owner's manual.}
3. _{Damage caused by failure to install products as specified in the owner's manual.}
4. _{Damage due to unauthorized product modifications or failure to use Pentair original replacement parts.}
5. _{Damage caused by negligence, or failure to properly maintain products as specified in the owner's manual.}
6. _{Damage caused by failure to maintain water chemistry in conformity with the standards of the swimming pool industry for any length of time.}
7. _{Damage caused by water freezing inside the product.}
8. _{Accidental damage, fire, acts of God, or other circumstances outside the control of Pentair.}
