What are the different products that make up the IntelliCenter System family?

There are three offerings in the IntelliCenter family of products:
- IntelliCenter System
- IntelliCenter® Lite System
- IntelliCenter® Upgrade Kit for EasyTouch®/IntelliTouch®
Features are consistent across all IntelliCenter Pool Control System products.

What kind of equipment can I control with IntelliCenter System?
-
The IntelliCenter system can control up to forty auxiliary circuits. These are defined as High Powered AC Voltage (120VAC & 240VAC) not exceeding three horsepower. This includes the following features:
- pool pumps (single-speed or variable)
- pressure-side cleaner pumps
- feature pumps (single-speed or variable)
- lights (colored or white)
- sanitization equipment (e.g., IntelliChlor® Salt Chlorine Generator)
It also includes thirty-two feature circuits. Examples of what these can control include additional speeds on a variable-speed pump or an actuator to be assigned without using an existing auxiliary circuit.
IntelliCenter can also be set up on the customer’s Internet and controlled remotely via the IntelliCenter2 app.

How does IntelliCenter work?

The IntelliCenter system works in a variety of ways. The IntelliCenter System works with the IntelliCenter2 app and other available control panel options, including a main panel utilizing a full capacity touchscreen, any expansion panel (same screen as main), wired indoor remote (same screen as main), wireless handheld remote (same screen as main), wired spa side remote (push button).
Simply connect IntelliCenter Pool Control System to your home WiFi network (direct wired Ethernet or wireless connection kit), download the app, add your equipment, and start scheduling your desired routines.

Can the IntelliCenter System help me automate my pool schedule?

Yes! The IntelliCenter System makes programming pool heater settings, lighting adjustments and more easily manageable through the IntelliCenter2 app. The easy-to-use interface allows monitoring or controlling your pool automation system from anywhere in the world.

Will the IntelliCenter System alert me of potential issues with my pool and equipment?

The IntelliCenter System offers real-time alerts and status information for the main panel, expansion panels and wireless or wired remotes via the IntelliCenter2 app. The system can notify you when attention is needed to address potential issues before they negatively impact your pool or equipment.

Will the IntelliCenter System help make my pool system run more efficiently?

In addition to making it easy to automate your pool schedule, the IntelliCenter System also provides you with information on your equipment’s performance. This information can help you make any adjustments needed to optimize the efficiency and performance of equipment, which can help reduce operating costs and maintenance.

Why are new SKUs being added for IntelliCenter?

IntelliCenter Pool Control System is the flagship automation system for Pentair and continues to make ongoing improvements. A lower-priced entry point is now available to meet market needs, and new SKUs are available.

What are the new SKUs, and how are they different from IntelliCenter?
-
The new IntelliCenter Lite System SKUs include a power center rather than a load center with a 125AMP breaker bus. Two IntelliCenter Lite SKUs exclude a high-power wireless kit used to connect to the pool owner’s router wirelessly. With these two options, remote access can be provided with a hard-wired cat-5 Ethernet connection from the customer’s main network router directly into the back of the IntelliCenter main board. The new SKUs are used when a load center and breaker panel are not needed or a wireless connection to the pool owner’s router is not required.
IntelliCenter Lite bundles do not include water chemistry solutions currently. You can order an IntelliChlor® Salt Chlorine Generator and other water chemistry products separately.

The IntelliCenter Lite system has the same functionality as the IntelliCenter Pool Control System.

Is the IntelliCenter Lite expandable, and how do these SKUs align with EasyTouch® Lite?

The IntelliCenter Lite system is an expandable automation system with the same functionality as an IntelliCenter system. It has significantly more capability than the EasyTouch® Lite system. However, the following table provides the closest equivalents to the EasyTouch Lite system:

When is the last date EasyTouch and IntelliTouch products can be purchased?

- July 31, 2023 for all IntelliTouch Systems
- September 29, 2023 for all EasyTouch Systems
Orders for IntelliTouch and/or EasyTouch systems purchased before the sale dates of July 31 and September 29, 2023, respectively, will be honored as available.

When should dealers begin offering the IntelliCenter family of products as an alternative to EasyTouch and IntelliTouch systems?

Communications will be sent to dealers in early April 2023 and should take immediate effect.

What is the standard warranty period for new purchases EasyTouch/IntelliTouch pool control products in 2023?

For any EasyTouch or IntelliTouch product purchased in 2023, the standard Pentair manufacturer warranty policy applies to the following:
- Warranty start date based on the installation date
- One-year-term if purchased as standalone
- Three-year-term if the product was purchased in a bundle

How will EasyTouch and IntelliTouch pool control products be treated if deemed under warranty in the event of a break/fix repair issue?

We will replace legacy systems with comparable replacement equipment while parts are available. If parts are unavailable, we will provide the appropriate IntelliCenter Upgrade Kit.

How will EasyTouch and IntelliTouch pool control products be treated if deemed out of warranty?
-
The customer service agent may direct the customer to a Pentair agent for ordering instructions or to local dealer installers for assistance with a suitable solution or comparable product to keep their system functioning may be required.
Pentair customer service agents may, on a discretionary basis, offer an IntelliCenter upgrade kit at zero cost. Goodwill courtesy is promoted in warranted situations.
