Inspiring the Future: Pentair Receives Handshake Early Talent Award
At Pentair, we seek talented and passionate employees who aspire to live our purpose to create a better world for people and the planet through smart, sustainable water solutions. I am excited to share that our dedication to inspiring and engaging with the next generation of talent was recently recognized with Pentair receiving a 2025 Handshake Early Talent Award.
We are honored to receive this distinguished award as it recognizes our efforts to drive positive career outcomes with emerging talent. Awarded annually and now in their fifth year, the Handshake Early Talent Awards (ETAs) celebrate the best employers for job seekers starting their careers. This year, Pentair was one of three hundred winning employers across seventeen industries.

I’m incredibly proud of the programs that Pentair has in place to attract and support early career talent. A few examples include:
- Recruiting Program: Our robust recruiting program engages with eight functions within the business and recruits from ten core universities across the United States. The goal of our campus strategy is to seek and retain top talent that possess the critical skills and leadership competencies that we need for the future of Pentair. Our engagement with the students helps position Pentair as an employer of choice and spread awareness of our mission of helping the world sustainably move, improve, and enjoy water, life’s most essential resource.
- Leadership Development Programs: We also encourage and support early career talent within Pentair through our Leadership Development Programs. These accelerated programs for recent college graduates are designed to develop high caliber individuals into future leaders at Pentair. Our programs give participants the opportunity to gain high-level visibility to leadership and create significant impact within our global manufacturing organization.
- Intern Summer Program: Pentair further inspires early talent through our annual Intern Summer Program where college interns engage in impactful, project-based work throughout the summer. Each intern is assigned to a real-world, strategic business project that directly helps Pentair create a more sustainable future. Interns also participate in a mentorship program, volunteer events, learn from top leaders across Pentair, and join weekly roundtable conversations with peers throughout the duration of their internship.
