Progress & Pride: Pentair Latino Resource Group Attends Hispanic Leadership Summit
The Pentair Latino Resource Group (LRG) recently attended the Hispanic Leadership Summit, held December 7 – 8, at the United Nations in New York City. It was a unique and inspiring experience to be surrounded by many incredible, motivated, determined, passionate, and driven Hispanic leaders.
As part of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts, Pentair was proud to be a sponsor of the event, hosted by Claudia Romo Edelman, and the We Are All Human Foundation. With the theme “An Agenda of Progress & Pride,” the Summit brought together a diverse group of Hispanic leaders representing many industries to share their stories and what their Companies are doing for the Hispanic community. In addition to providing networking opportunities for cross-sector, cross-industry leadership from the Hispanic community, the Summit created, validated, and prioritized a shared agenda that includes barriers, goals, targets, and indicators for our Hispanic community.

I was inspired by the progress and impact Latinos have made and continue to make in America. We have the power to make a difference, and we need to be intentional about supporting each other and celebrate the success of other Latinos.
It was an honor to represent Pentair, and we left the Summit with new ideas about how we can help support and grow the Hispanic community and our allies at Pentair. By implementing the learnings, we will further enhance the Latino experience at Pentair and ensure that we continue to find new ways to grow, support, and cultivate workplace relationships among Hispanics for the benefit of the Company and our communities.
